As part of the release of the Equinox expansion for EVE Online, I renovated the Bomb impact VFX. It was important to keep the timings of the existing impact FX during this renovation, as not to affect the gameplay the players were used to. At the same time, making sure the bomb damage type was easy to read from distance through colours and shapes.
